Penalty Area to right of 12th fairway
by Ken Brunker @ 04:59 PM, 4th Jul 2025Members are advised that a portion of the area to the right of the service road on the 12th fairway is now a Penalty Area. Players may play the ball in the penalty area or take relief (1 penalty shot) as per Rule 17.1d. Note that any gardens in the penalty area do not offer free relief and are to be treated as a penalty area.
The service roads to the right of the 12th and 14th fairways are to be treated as GUR in terms of the Club’s Local Rule and hence free relief can be sought (Rule 16.1). Note that all local rules are listed on the notice board outside the Pro Shop.
