AUGUST REPORT 2024 With the weather starting to warm up we are seeing some signs of growth on the course. The greens are good with the kangaroo damage starting to recover. They have been sprayed for wintergrass per our winter programme, and have had a liquid foliar nutrient applied. We have formed up and concreted another 6m3 on the 7th path, and have started to excavate the road behind the 2nd green. This will be formed up and concreted over the next few weeks weather permitting. The concrete path at the 10th tee is finished with some turf layed along the edges and a number of bottlebrush shrubs planted to make the entrance to the back nine much more presentable. The 6th bunker has had the base raised to stop washdowns during heavy rain. We have also installed a new drain in this bunker and the bunker on the left hand side of the 10th green. All other bunkers have had new sand added to them. The bunkers have had the edges trimmed, the tapbox lids have been trimmed around and the seats on the course have been painted. We are in the process of trimming around the plates on tees, cleaning them up and painting them. The rubbish near the Telstra tower has been burnt off. Thanks John
